The Do Good Program // CAMBODIA
With great sadness, we regret to inform our Proof community our service project to Cambodia, scheduled for March 2020, has been delayed due to canceled flights directly related to the uprising cases of the Coronavirus. It is in the best interest of our team to postpone this initiative until the travel through China is safe once again. We are working with our partner, HELP International, to coordinate this project later this year, as long as the conditions have improved. In the meantime, we will continue to look for immediate opportunities to give back on a local and international level. Thank you for your support, it is because you, we can continue to give back to those in need. Stay tuned here for additional updates in regards to the status of our Do Good project, as well as the other ways we plan to Do Good this year.
We firmly plant our roots in the belief that “Everyone has wings to fly, some just need a little help.” This principle fuels our annual Do Good Program; supporting people and places needing a little help. Through our partnership with HELP International and our Proof customers, we have traveled, volunteered, and donated to projects in El Salvador, India, Philippines, Uganda, Nepal, and Peru. This March we are heading to Cambodia.
While in Cambodia, we will align ourselves to Help International’s initiatives. True to the spirit of all of Proof’s Do Good projects, we will dedicate ourselves to create sustainable change related to economic development, environmental conservation, education, and visual health. Just like our glasses, the Do Good projects are not one-size-fits-all.
Our efforts will specifically cater to the needs of the individuals and communities in Cambodia. Proof and HELP International will work together to provide health and educational resources to those living in poverty within the rural communities. We will co-create projects in effort to empower the people of Cambodia to make a sustainable impact.
The Do Good Program
By embracing a socially- conscious business model, the idea of our Do Good Program is to give back on a project-by-project basis. Our efforts in helping others have stretched from Idaho to the other side of the world.
